Description

A grilled pork loin using these ingredients and directions will have a delicious and savory taste. The marinade, made with garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, thyme, salt, and pepper, will infuse the pork with a complex and well-balanced flavor. The garlic adds a subtle pungency, the olive oil provides a rich, earthy taste and helps to keep the meat moist, the soy sauce gives a salty and savory taste, the brown sugar adds a hint of sweetness, the thyme brings a woodsy and herbal flavor and the salt and pepper give it a nice seasoning.

Grilling the pork loin will add a smoky and slightly charred flavor to the meat, while also keeping it tender and juicy. The high heat of the grill will also help to create a nice crust on the outside of the pork, which will add a satisfying texture to the meat.

The end result will be a tender and juicy pork loin with a complex and delicious flavor that is well balanced between sweet, salty, and savory. The thyme and garlic will give a subtle but pleasant aroma. It will be perfect to enjoy with a variety of sides, such as roasted vegetables, or a salad.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (2-3 lb) pork loin
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, salt, and pepper. This mixture will be used as a marinade for the pork loin.
  2. Take the pork loin and place it in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the pork loin, making sure that the meat is evenly coated. Seal the bag and toss the pork in the marinade to ensure that it is evenly coated. Leave the pork to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight. This will allow the flavors of the marinade to penetrate the meat and make it more flavorful and tender.
  3. Before grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. This will ensure that the pork is cooked at the right temperature and will prevent it from being overcooked or undercooked.
  4. Take the pork loin out of the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Place the pork loin on the grill and cook it for 15-20 minutes per side. This will depend on the thickness of your pork loin, and you should use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the meat. The internal temperature should reach 145°F.
  6. Once the pork loin is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for at least 10 minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute and make the meat more tender when sliced.
  7. Slice the pork loin and serve it with your favorite sides.

Note:

You can adjust the timing or temperature depending on your grill and your taste. If you are using a gas grill, you might need to cook it for less time. If you are using a charcoal grill, you might need to cook it for more time.
