There is no better meal to enjoy throughout the summer than a succulent steak that has just been pulled from the grill. This steak, a classic BBQ staple, is the real deal: juicy, flavorful, and accompanied by a tantalizing aroma that will make your mouth water.
Time: 15 minutes | Serves: 4
Ingredients
4 Sirloin or fillet steaks
80 ml soy sauce
120 ml olive oil
80 ml lemon juice
40 ml Worcestershire sauce
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
½ tsp black pepper
Pinch of salt
Directions
Step 1
Whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, parsley, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
Step 2
When you add the steaks to the bowl, make sure that they are completely covered by the marinade. This will ensure that the meat will absorb all of the flavours that are in the marinade.
Step 3
Place the steaks on the barbecue grill and let them to cook for anywhere between 1.5 and 5 minutes, or until they reach a golden brown colour. How long you cook the steaks for depends on whether you like them rare or well done.
Step 4
Using tongs, flip the steaks over and cook for a further 1.5 to 5 minutes on the other side.
Step 5
Before serving, place the steaks on a board and let them rest for a while.
